Withdrawable low-voltage assemblies for motor control centres and distribution boards where individual circuits must be isolated, modified or replaced without a full shutdown.
Every motor control centre and every distribution board that has to stay running during maintenance eventually needs withdrawable modules. MNS and GCK provide that flexibility, and the difference between them is normally the modular frame and the price band rather than the operating principle.
MNS and GCK are the withdrawable low-voltage families used where a fixed GGD cabinet is not flexible enough. Drawer modules plug into a common busbar framework, so a feeder can be withdrawn for testing, cable work or replacement while the rest of the board stays energized. MNS uses an 8E modular system as the classic reference; GCK follows the same withdrawable principle in a cost-effective frame.
Each drawer contains its own breaker, protection and terminal arrangement on a common chassis. The withdrawable unit has three positions — connected, test and isolated — and in the test position the main contacts are separated while the control and measurement circuits remain live, which is what allows protection settings to be checked without an outage. Busbars run through the vertical busbar compartment, and the top and bottom horizontal busbars distribute power to each drawer.

Values shown are typical ratings for this product family. Final ratings, dimensions and component selection are confirmed in the technical agreement and the order drawing; routine factory test reports are supplied with each unit.
The main decision is whether every outgoing circuit genuinely needs to be withdrawn independently. If only a few circuits need that flexibility, a hybrid line-up of fixed and withdrawable cubicles is cheaper than a fully withdrawable board. When going fully withdrawable, match the frame size to the incoming current and check that the planned drawer list fits the number of drawer units the frame can hold — this is the number most often missed at the enquiry stage.
All three are withdrawable low-voltage families. GCK is the cost-effective frame, GCS is the higher-specification build and MNS is the modular system with the 8E reference framework. All three use the same withdrawable principle, so the choice is normally the modularity, the busbar rating and the price band rather than the operating method.
Yes — in the test position the main contacts are open while the control and measurement circuits stay live, which allows protection settings to be verified without an outage. Work on the primary side still requires the drawer to be in the isolated position with the shutter closed.
Up to 4000 A on the main busbar for the highest-specification MNS build, with withstand currents from 50 kA to 80 kA depending on the frame.
Yes. Give us the motor and feeder schedule and we assemble the drawer scheme, the busbar sizing and the short-circuit coordination into the quotation.
GB/T 7251.1-2023 and GB/T 7251.2-2023, with IEC 61439-1 and IEC 61439-2 as the international reference. GCS and MNS are covered by CCC self-declaration.
15 days for customized withdrawable configurations and 10 days for standard builds, counted from deposit plus confirmed technical agreement plus approved drawing.
Send us the rated voltage, rated current or capacity, quantity and destination country, plus any single-line diagram. We reply with a configuration proposal and a quotation — usually within 24 hours of receiving complete technical information.
